How to copy files from VPS
To allow your VPS to access the local drives of your PC, you need to:
1. Search for 'Remote desktop connection' in the search bar of the taskbar
2. Run the Remote Desktop Connection app
3. Click 'Show Options' in the pop-up window
4. Go to 'Local Resources' in the window that appears next
5. Click 'More' at the bottom of the window
6. Expand the 'Drives' line by clicking the '+' icon near the 'Drives' line
Note that you will not be able to access any of the local drives if you only check the 'Drives' line – you need to select the specific drives you wish to use
7. Mark the drives you need to access from your VPS
8. Click 'OK', then proceed to log into the VPS
If you perform all the steps correctly, your VPS will have access to the local drives you marked via Windows Explorer.
You can copy-paste the files required (including the EAs/add-ons you need to run or other trading platforms) directly from your local drive to the system drive of your VPS.
